Conservation/Reality Show (Borneo)
I received a Telly award for my work on “Destination Conservation,” a wildlife adventure television series. My production role involved accompanying pairs of teenagers to far-flung corners of the world (namely, Borneo). If there is anything I’ve learned, it’s that if I can dodge orangutans in the jungle I can tackle anything you throw at me.

The CAMIE Awards celebrate the best in uplifting, inspiring entertainment–simply put, stories that make the world a better place.
Celebrities in attendance included Jon Voight, Ed Asner, Dakota Fanning, Olivia Hussey, John Schneider, and Genie Francis.
Musical performances were provided by pianist/composer Jim Brickman, singer Clint Holmes, and 5th Dimension entertainers Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr.

As the Director of Events and Development, I was in charge of not only the annual awards gala, but for all conferences and board retreats (2010).

The Lords and Ladies Masquerade Ball took place at the private estate of the charity’s founder, Ron Hatfield — to many, proclaimed the “Willy Wonka” of Utah whose estate was a veritable Wonderland. It even included a Snow White-inspired cottage and castle!
An amazing man and philanthropist who began this charity in his retirement, this work is inspired, driven, and motivated by his vision.
In Our Own Quiet Way is a non-profit whose major projects include micro‐finance, the building of critical water dams in Kenya, and orphanages.
